Questions on ZOOM Type-2 Push Start Button

  • From Rich Therrien at 4/22/2021 1:46 PM
    • Do you need a kill switch with this or can you shut off the engine with the key?
    • Heya,

No need for a kill switch. You can shut off the engine with the key.

      Thanks!

  • From Big Jones at 12/13/2023 1:03 AM
    • Does this still require a working key? My ignition cylinder is worn rotationally; accessory mode is fine, turning to on will not activate dash lights and it requires 10 more degrees of rotation to get the vehicle into "on position" so it does not turn far enough to start the car. I've already took part the ignition switch and cleaned all contacts so I'm confident it is the cylinder.
    • Hello thanks for reaching us.

Unfortunately, the function of the starter button requires the car key to be set to the ‘ON’ position on the ignition.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

      Thanks!
