Steel Roll Cage (Bar) Kit made by Cusco for the ND (2016+) MX-5 Miata. This kit is the Safety21 version, which is made of black steel and is designed as a more budget friendly roll cage kit. One of the huge benefits is the wide variety of options available for this kit, including additional bars that can be added to the cage for increased rigidity and safety. Cusco makes this cage in two versions, 4 and 6 point. The 4 point kit is limited to behind the seats while the 6 point variation extends over the driver and passenger to encompass the whole cockpit. On top of that Cusco offers an optional arch bar, that attaches the left and right of the cage together for increased rigidity. Cusco also made sure when designing this bar that the center storage cubby would still be usable. The second optional bar is the side bar, made for use with the 6 point cage. This side bar connects the front and rear of the cage together to further increase chassis stiffness. Pictures show the Standard 4 Point version.
