The PC2600 brake pad is a variety that they originally made for Porsches, to work well with their rear engined drive layout. Acre have now adapted them to work with a wide variety of vehicles (including the Mazda Miata)!
The PC2600 is an all around pad, what Acre has described as a semi-racing pad. Acre states this pad is suitable for street, touge, circuit and even endurance racing. This pad has been used in light endurance events of 2 hours and all the way up to 12 hour endurance events in super taikyu racing.
Acre says this pad produces more dust than some of their less aggressive pads and also is a little less gentle on rotors. Compared to Acre’s similar PC3200 pad, the PC2600 is more resistant to fade but less gentle on rotors.

The PC3200 is one of Acre Brakes semi-racing brake pads, appropriate for competition and street use for all years Mazda Miata applications.
Acre has tested these compounds on the track and even in endurance racing events such as Super Taikyu! On top of that the pad is gentle enough that you can also use it for aggressive street use.
Note that this pad will produce some dust, but all in all should be more gentle on rotors than the PC2600 model pad.

Acre’s customers asked for a pad that offered potent stopping power, but with little to no dust and no squeal. This pad is their answer to that request!
With the development of this pad, Acre sought to break the stereotype that a dustless, quiet brake pad was inferior in stopping power. Now, you can have a pad with better than OEM stopping power, with none of the dust or noise!
Acre comments that worst case scenario on a cold winter day, you may hear some squealing during the first stop, but thats it.

This pad is a circuit use pad that will also work on the street. Note that this braking compound is designed to be more gentle on rotors than other carbon metallic compounds, but will require delicate footwork when braking at the limit.
