- How does this part install, and do I have to disassemble anything to install it?

  Sorry for late reply!
  
  The Center Hood OEM piece can be removed without removing the console (it's a pressure fit). The Liberal leather will use its attachment points to secure it and then you put it back in place. The difficulty level may be 2 out of 5.
