Questions on Garage Vary Vented Hood

  • 1. How much does it weigh?
    
    2. What is the actual realized weight reduction?
    
    3. How much is the volume of air flow increased over the stock design?
    
    4. Is their any uplift created by the air flow pattern through the engine compartment?
    
    5. How is rain kept out of the engine compartment?

    1 & 2. Weight; Almost same with the OEM hood. Approx 9.6kg
    
    3. We don't have airflow volume numbers. However, the temperature of the engine room should be lowered because the heat goes out through the duct behind the radiator.
    
    4. Uplift is caused to some extend especially when you drive at high speed because the air comes from through the gaps of various places. If you’re worrying about the uplift, please get the hood pins.
    
    5. There is an optional rain guard for sell (just added).
