    High quality header (exhaust manifold) made by Maxim Works from Japan for 1.5 L ND (2016+) Mazda Miata/MX-5. They come in a 4-2-1 construction with the primary pipes being 34mm, the secondary being 45mm and the tailpipes coming out to 50.8 mm. Lighter then the OEM counterpart, made with high quality SUS304 TP, this item serves as an easy, bolt on weight reduction mod. With the dual catalytic converters, the torque begins to build at 2500 rpm and from 3000 rpm to rev limiter the header begin to create a higher exhaust note compared to stock. With the engine breathing better, it also creates a heightened throttle response during mid gear which are really felt during cornering as well as over takes on the freeway. It has been tested for ND2 engine (2018+), however, it will not pass emission testings in Japan. It physically fit, but it may cause a check engine light (CEL). Learn More
