May 1, 2012 | JDM Tuner shops

Hey!

If you've ever wondered what does a Japanese tuner shop looks like and don't have money to go see it yourself, there's always a way to check without leaving the comfort of your house. I've picked 6 shops who's products we sell.

Starting with Jet Stream which's a really small shop, but you can see a modified NA peaking behind the small Honda.

Jet's/Integral kobe shop is much bigger. You can see an orange NA in the front and the two shop cars in the back. Black NB and blue NC. Would you be interested in spotlight on those?

NOPRO shop is in great area, the roads around it look like much fun! In front of the garage, you can see a NC having flares fitted next to a stock looking NB, white NA in the background next to a yellow S2K and their project NC next to a tiny but mean looking Cappucino.

R.S. Aizawa resides in a small corner building. You can see a stock looking NA with some chrome accents in the front and back inside the shop is a white NA. On the right outside the frame were two more cars that were for sale, but looked pretty much stock as well.

RS Factory Stage has probably the most roadsters parked in front of their shop. NAs, from stock to modified and from working to almost stripped to bare chasis.

The last one for now is Tuckin 99 shop near Osaka city. Looks more like a showroom with NA ans NB next to it in the parking.

If you could choose, which one of those would you like to visit? My personal favourite is the NOPRO!

Hey everyone,

We have a new feature on the website. I'm sure many of you will enjoy it: shipping estimator.

We know, it was possible to estimate it in the past, but now, you can estimate it directly from your product page and even check the price difference between adding a product to your cart or just buying it alone.

Here's what it looks like:

Some of you may have noticed it. It now appears on every page at the bottom.

When you add products to your cart, they can be calculated with or without the product you're estimating (complicated, eh?) but all you need to do is select Yes or No. Also, you can estimate the shipping based on the quantity you are going to order (order 1 item vs 2 to save on shipping, etc. can now be calculated very fast).

Hopefully you'll enjoy this feature!

Now, some neat interiors to give some inspiration:

It's all about the details.... check out this dash covering:

Hi!

I've just recently found a video of an NA storming around a small Japanese circuit. The car was quite fast and judging by the sound, the engine was naturally aspirated. After a quick search, I've found out it belongs to a RS Garage Watanabe located in the outskirts of Fukuyama, Japan.

The car makes 195bhp from B6 engine stroked to 1.7l with OER thortle bodies managed by Freedom ECU. Internals were swaped for Mahle pistons and Toda 288 intake and exhaust cams and compression got bumped to 12:1. Exhaust consists of Maxim Works header, Maruha catalitic converter and full  titanium catback.

Front bumper is a Work Anhelo, wheels are Volk RE30 and driver sits in Bride seat in front of Nardi Classico and multiple additional gauges.

All in all, the car sounds really great and is damn fast too!
