Jet's NC2 Sexy Curves

Tuesday, September 7, 2010 7:48:31 AM PDT

It's been a while since my last update. I'm sorry, I've been super busy with new projects! Some new products might appear on the store soon, but considering the bad exchange rate, it's not worth it to rush it, as it'll end up more expensive than expected.

Now, let's talk about our main subject.

Jet's recently released some products for NC2 (NCEC with facelift) and I must admit that it's pretty AGRESSIVE. It looks great and follow the lines of the car very nicely.

I guess photos would be more interesting than talk.

The front lip, aero touches and Volk RE30 makes this car incredibly nice looking. If you're interested in them, you can send me an email and I'll get you a quote!

Goodbye ARC, we loved you.

Sunday, August 8, 2010 4:26:24 PM PDT

Heya everyone,

Sad day for the roadster industry. It seems that ARC has now discontinued intake chambers for MX5s. There are still remainings of NB8C, but NA6 and NA8 are not available anymore new.

We are still able to get these beauties in USED form, but keep in mind that those are no longer available new and everyone will try to keep one as it's a piece of art, literally.

I am glad I have one in my shop car, these things are the best intakes available for our cars, nothing compares to it. We dyno tested many models and ARC sometimes gave 3 times the power of its competitor.

I am also glad to have some high resolution pictures of these when they were brand new as we won't see some cool pieces like that in the future.

For the last picture, here's AJ's engine bay when he used his ARC intake + turbo:

Hi all,

Since I'm running many of the parts I sell on my shop car, I thought I could share some of my thoughts about them.

First, I'd like to talk about the Nielex Short Shifter Kit. I installed it about a year and half ago. I love it SO much. It makes the gears so much shorter, you can change them just by using 1 finger. The height of the shift knob is adjustable, so you can even keep the OEM shifter height while having a shorter throw. I myself tried many setups and kept the OEM height. The short shift kit comes with brand new bushing and makes your car shift better than new. The shifter also feels much more rigid (less sloppy).

Second, I'd like to tell you that the Beatrush Shifter Collar is totally worth it. It's a cheap piece that makes shifting even more precise. The 2nd-to-3rd gear shift is now always perfect and even more easier. It makes the shifter more rigid combined with Nielex Short Shifter Kit. Even without the short shift kit, customers tell me it's a very useful part if you're racing.

Finally, I recently installed a Nardi Evolution Shift Knob in my shop car. God this shifter is nice. I previously had an OEM Mazda3 Shift Knob (heavy) and this one feels SO much better. It's actually the same one as the ones that came in 1991 BRG Miatas. It's very light, but the shape of it makes it perfect for our vehicles. It's available in dark wood, light wood (same as 1991 BRG) and leather. I installed the dark wood version in my vehicle.

Now, let's show a few pictures (only the shift knob can be seen...) :

I'll add more pictures of the shift knob in future posts as I'm switching for the leather version in a few weeks.

I hope you enjoyed the review, here are some useful links:
