Sports induction intake kit from Autoexe of Japan for the 2016+ ND MX-5 Miata. Autoexe designed these kits to increase sound and engine response along with it.

The kit interfaces with the rest of the OEM intake kit and replaces the OEM airbox with an FRP filter frame in Autoexe’s signature red. Along with it comes both a quality K&N filter and an aluminum heat shield.

Installs easily using hand tools in about an hour. Please note that when installed, you cannot see the induction box because it's facing towards the ground. However, you can definitely hear it.

    • The duct of the original Cold Air Intake is it removed when you install the box?
The Sports Induction Box suck water when you go for a ride when It's raining?
Those the Sport Induction Box inhale more hot air?

      Thanks!!

    • Hello Diego,

      1. Do you need to remove ducting from OEM airbox when installing this?
→You just need to remove OEM airbox. It will be connected to the OEM intake suction hose.
      (Ref : https://www.autoexe.co.jp/manual/manual/inductionbox/MNC957.pdf)

      2. Will it suck water when it’s raining?
→You don't need to worry about it if it's a normal rain.
But you have to drive carefully under extreme conditions like typhoons or heavy rain.

      3. Will it inhale hotter air than with OEM airbox?
→It's possible the air will be hotter than the OEM airbox especially when you stop.

      Thanks!
